Space
593. Space
So many literaly and references to past poems...
Space, the final frontier, or as Alastair McLean put it - the Last.
Am I speaking of inner space? Indeed, so, princess! come fast
And lets ride along the open road for two. You've had your sadness,
I've watched and waited and wondered when will it be time for gladness.
Merry in all weather as we grow a garden in the Holy Father's grace.
Oh what it give to be able to smoothen the lines on your face.
We'll have children, and touch a gazillion souls with our daring.
Oh, having you to cherish and hold has been my life's second biggest blessing.
The biggest was to know the goodness that is my mom and dad.
Oh to have seen them young not forlorn, I would have been glad.
But I've always maintained that sadness only comes to dig
Out the jada in us, makes us light and tender as a sprig.
Baby can I hold you tonight? Would you kiss my lips and hold me?
Watch as I pull down the very stars for you? Go whee
As we dance to the movement of the stars.
Smile as at a brook, we hum a few of life's bars.
Sweetheart mine, it's time we held each other
And built a Bulwark and make ourselves a tether.
Ten points lover, let me start a countin the days
Until life will have us in a wondrous daze.
